Fun Shoot Rules
Club
These are non World Archery (WA) and non
Archery Australia (AA) shoots sanctioned by the Committee.
These shoots require additional rules, as they must be in line with the AA Risk Management and Safety policies.
Mini Clout
- - Bow draw weight must be <= 40lb.
- - Flu-flu arrows must be used to increase drag and
reduce flight of the arrows.
- - The Clout target is to be a maximum of 60m from the shooting
line.
Mini Popinjay
- - Bow draw weight must be <= 40lb.
- - Flu-flu arrows with blunts must be used to
increase drag and reduce flight of the arrows.
- - Popinjay to be no more than 30m from the shooting
line.
- Popinjay tower to be no more than 5m high + popinjay
targets.
Decathlon
- - Mini Clout and Popinjay rules apply to those
targets requiring the archer to aim above the standard
range target height.
- - Existing Range rules apply to all other targets.
Mini Field
- - Targets 1 to 11 (field course) shot at 10m
distance.
- - Existing Field course rules apply.
